Nothing Left

Red hot, I am burning with desire for you,
Ice cold, these chills thrill me through and through.
I may sigh with longing when you're on my mind,
Or just sit quietly enjoying the bitter-sweet climb
To the places in my dreams where you set me free,
I would transcend reality to be all that you wish of me.
I can't say why, but it just is so unfair,
The way I've fallen for you, but then love doesn't care.
Love ignores all that the fickle mind wants,
So forgive me, I cant help these wonderous thoughts.
I cant help the way I long for you in the lonely night,
Although these feelings I havent exactly tried to fight.
The sinful pleasure of wanting you
Creeps into my bones and when its through,
Theres nothing left of the young and innocent me,
Nothing left, because thats how I want it to be.


Lazy Days

I watch them go by, these lazy days,
So sleepy we live in this crazy haze.
Oblivious, we watch the lonely world fly,
Ill just have to get to it by and by.
Dreamy, all I can think about is you.
Wishing that someday these dreams can come true.
I smile, and laugh, but then get back to my sighs,
Wanting nothing but to be lost inside your eyes.
These lazy days go on and on,
Thinking of you and your lovely song.
Time and its trivialities are worries of the living,
But we share loves immortality and lazy days will be forgiving.


Heartbeats

Have you ever wondered for what the heart beats?
Why we sigh in longing, what food the soul eats?
Searching for love, is it that which drives us?
Love isnt fair, no, love was never ever just.
So why do we long for the pain only love can bring?
I know I do, I wonder if you are my souls champion and king.
I've asked myself, am I ready for this love?
For what I will lose will love's rewards be enough?
Is it time for us to finally give in and fall?
I think so, I can feel within myself your lonely call.
So if you still wonder for what the heart beats,
Know that mine beats soley for you to be with me.

True Love

There is a force, one which can't be controlled.
A thing started by no will other than it's own,
You can't deny it once it has chosen you,
Try to fight it, but there's nothing you can do.
You can pretend to ignore, even though you aren't,
It's impossible, because from you it takes every part,
You can't think of anything else, you can't explain,
So strange how one person can create within you feelings so impossible to contain.
Why did it choose us? Is it because of who we are?
Two so very different and yet so strikingly similar?
We were so lonely and we find it's eachother we've been looking for,
This thing which has chosen us to be together forevermore,
It is clearly a thing which compared to us is far above,
So let's give it a name, let's just call it true love.



Terrified

Im terrified to admit that I'm in love with you,
Its because Im afraid you might be able to love me too.
Im so afraid to give into feelings such as this,
Theyre uncontrollable-but they bring such absolute bliss.
When you are around I have not even a concept of self control-
Its because Im so drawn to you and perhaps your soul.
I know now why they call it falling in love.
I felt myself fall the moment I felt your touch.
And it is the fall which has me so scared,
Its even worse now that I know you care.
Im so happy feeling these things, I don't want them to stop,
But I know that if they dont Ill pay a hefty cost.
The sweet turmoil that loving you has put me in,
Is all I care about now, guess its time to give in!



Blind

Blind to the pain, we live our lives.
Blind to the truth, we believe the lies.
Blind to all heartache, we love but don't care.
Blind to the hatred, we forget that it's there.
Blind to reality, we live in our dreams.
Blind to possibility, we accept how things seem.
Blind to hope, we lay down and die,
Blind to life, we forget to try, and just sit, and cry.


Lust

I dreamt about you last night,
In a soft sweet loving fantasy.
We, on wings of tenderness took flight,
As you and I gave way to exstasy.
I trembled, as ever closer you came
Your breath on my neck sent shivers down my spine.
The time had come for us to stake love's claim,
And I knew it was time for you to be mine.
Never had I felt things so clearly before,
As I felt when you touched me here and there,
Never had I known how my body could soar,
As when you showed me just how to care.
I saw things newly, for the very first time,
I knew what it meant both to love and to trust,
And that the morning's light couldn't begrudge us our crimes,
I felt for the first time that sweet bliss of lust.
