Mirror, mirror upon the wall,
Wont you tell me just whose the darkest one of all,
Mirror, mirror reveal to me,
The path that leads to my destiny. . .

Look beyond the surface, as the reflection begins to clear,
See the answers to your questions, and all that you hold dear,
See your soul reflected, see the real you,
With all your hopes and fears, and just which ones might come true,

Mirror, mirror, please show to me,
My long foretold legacy,
Mirror, mirror, wont you guide me,
Show me the way to tranquillity,

See a field, with a lake crystal clear,
Secluded by trees, to keep out fear,
Feel the gentle breeze as it blows,
Look into the waters, see what they show,


Point? (WIP)

Whats the point of running,
Youve got no place to hide,
There aint no use in crying,
When the tears have all run dry,
Whats the use of constant sacrifice,
As you count the cost, was it worth the price?
Whats the point of dreaming,
If your dreams just cant be real,
A futile exercise all the schemeing,
Cause heaven you just cant steal,
Whats the use of power,
If your never going to use it,
Whats the use of justice,
If we are all going to abuse it,
So wheres the point in running,
when you have no place to hide,
And there aint no use in crying,
when your tears have all run dry.

Im looking for the answers
To the questions that fill my mind
Why dont we try to change things?
Why must we be so blind?

Everyday the same pain
Everywhere it fills our lives
Misery fills the days that remain
Just how can we possibly survive?

If only we could take a look in the mirror
And see just who we are,
Maybe then we'd come to understand,
The answers lie within us, not somewhere beyond the stars.

Everywhere there are people dying,
Has god turned his back and walked away?
Millions of helpless children crying,
Why the world has turned and looked the other way?

There has to be more to our existence,
A stronger reason for us to survive,
Cause its only through the dogged persistence,
That many of our brothers can find a way to stay alive.

If god is up in heaven,
Why doesnt he take away some of the pain?
With his bishops acting like his generals,
Surely he is responsible for some of the blame.

Pain and misery seem to go hand in hand,
Retribution and confusion, as hate consumes the land,
We are the key, the cure to the disease,
If we change right now, we can bring it to its knees.

We give not a second thought to the suffering of our sweet mother earth,
Despite the fact shes cared for and protected us from our very birth,
Each day we seem hell bent on causing her more pain,
Look in the mirror and tell me, has man finally gone insane,
Oh lord yeah

If only we could take a look in the mirror

I close my eyes and begin to dream,
About sunny skies and meadows green,
The gentle drops of falling rain,
That soothe my soul and ease my pain,

We can soar above the world so high,
Through the clouds and across the sky,
Across the green and pleasant lands,
Above the deserts where pyramids stand,

Glide over valleys so full of life,
Past the east forever filled with strife,
Witness the present, future and the past,
Dreams of peace that forever lasts!

Falling Angel, (28/04/01)

All that you were is now lost,
Did you ever consider the cost,
Youre lost in the halls of confusion,
Absorbed by egotistic delusions,
All of youre friends theyre now gone,
You stand alone, lost, the lonely one,
Life wasnt meant to turn out this way,
Are these the cards fate decided to play,
You were once so very proud and strong,
Just where did things begin to go wrong?
Your hearts becoming so bitter and cold,
Where once it was so courageous and bold,
They always thought you were so clean and pure,
Sweet and innocent, so demure,
Youve let them tear your world into shreds,
Those angry demons inside your head,
Apocalyptic thoughts of all impending doom,
For you the end just cant come to soon,
Dark angels, they have clipped your wings,
Another falling angel, paying for their sins.






Empire falling (28/04/01)

Let your mind journey into the void,
Those negative thoughts, accept, dont avoid,
Hands of doom, theyre waiting to strike,
No use in running, or trying to fight,
Apocalyptic thoughts racing through your mind,
A guiding light, you must be blind,
Impending disater, now lies ahead,
Every time you awake, you wish you were dead,
Stand for judgement, before father time,
Dear mother Earth, she has paid for your crime,
Devil and daughter, they now come a calling,
Couldnt you see, your empire was falling?






Nightmare (30/04/01) re worked 08/04/02

Lost in the arms of a nightmare,
Body breathing, yet with a lifeless stare,
Fear it is pumping, through every vein,
As you witness horror, again and again,
You try so hard, this dream to escape,
But no matter what, you just cant awake,
Screams of terror, your head do fill,
Is this for real? Or are you mentally ill?
Every night now, the dreams are the same,
Surely if this continues, it will drive you insane,
Afraid to close your eyes, and fall a sleep,
Too terrible for you, the images to keep,
Children cry, and mothers they moan,
Nowhere is safe, every wheres one killing zone.
